NOTES & DETAILS
More Than Lech Wałęsa. Polska Drop features overpainted Polish 1980's currency backed by Soviet doctrine and failed economic policy. The solidarity movement paved the way for the fall of the eastern block. This was the first painting in the series around polish currency of that era.
Past historical figures, elements from the currency and interpretation collide on panel to tell a story, that once again may be unfolding in the world.
