NOTES & DETAILS

Overpainted on obsolete Vietnamese currency, Ho’s Crown reinterprets the image of the former leader while critically engaging with themes of foreign policy and economic consequence. Using whimsy and subversion of imagery, the work interrogates the constructs of power and ideology—an irony not lost within its own historical and geopolitical context.

Finished in spring 2024, this piece has been featured in both academic and gallery settings.
